You can get it in any forward gear if your moving backwards. Just cant get it in reverse if your moving forward. The reason why I know this is, you wouldnt be able to roll backwards if you were in first. I.E. On a hill you wouldnt roll backwards in first.

limited slip differential. means it distributes the powere equally between the 2 wheels. without it, you get only one wheel burning out. aka "one wheelie peely" or "one tire frier".

frankly, i did kill that transmission. however, it was not in any way related to a 2nd gear act.

um... that would be HELL N0! im not sure you can get the car in 2nd gear while its rolling backwards. i wont be the one to try it out so let me know how that works out for you.
