  • David, job well done...I felt like I lived through it, through your eyes. Well, you were always a good reporter, and a good storyteller. Looking for more excellent reportage in the future, Take care, your old friend Stephen Patt

  • This is a moving and tragic story. It is told well not only by the narrator's words, but by the expressions on his face as he speaks them. YouTube has enough content posted by self-centered kids of all ages. This video points the way to how this medium can be used to present more serious content.

  • In an age of overstatement, this quiet, understated narrative holds a lot of power. Excellent job by the videographer and especially the narrator who exhibits empathy that is so sadly lacking these days.

  • a powerful narrative, humbly told.
