Do You Speak Shih-Tzu?

Do you speak pissed off? Bentley did. Raven our Boxer is dying to play with our shih-tzu Bentley and he can't be bothered so she just dances around him and begs him to chase her, yet all he does is this angry shih-tzu babble instead.

i've heard Shih Tzu's have very bad attitudes and are quite aggressive from what other owners have told me is that true?

@chafeboy I think all dogs are what we make of them. My shih-tzu was miserable when we got our pitbull and boxer puppy. He was #1, and was content with that. He started acting up as a result of that. My new shih tzu Abba is the sweetest dog. She'd never hurt another dog. She does have boundaries though, and if she feels threatened by another dog, she will growl. It's natural.

I am sorry to hear about Bentley...I admire his tenacity and not taking nonsense from the Boxer..This is why it's difficult for me to have a dog..i am too emotionally attached and i would be very broken hearted if it passed away...I don't hate dogs. They are a great source of comfort...

@focus471 It's very true. I was devastated, and I still have nightmares about it. I run the scenario through my head over and over and think what I could have done differently. I have learned now with Abba to not let her leave my side. To a fault, I need to know where she is every moment. I've become so paranoid.

@Funkyfamily5 Two. Bentley, who passed away, and Abba, who I have now. Other pets you see in our videos are dogs we've rescued and re-homed, or friend's pets.

Did you know that Lhasa Apso's and Shih Tzu's were origionally bred in China to be Temple Guard Dogs and Guard Dogs for royalty.

Pretty cool huh.

Looks to me more like a mating action, then play. But it looks very hot and his panting so doesnt want to play - cant blame him - theres no play bow which is the usual invite to play.

@chafeboy Its a lie i have a little shih-tzu and she dosent bark at all she dose bark beacuse i have herd her befor like 2 times i adopted her but if u play wizth her agressive she will not even bite she will nibble on your hand

@chafeboy I grew up with Shih Tzus, and I have to say my personal opinion is I can't stand them. I love my pit bull though. Every time we go to thanksgiving we bring our dogs and my mom and grandma's shih tzu's all do this to the other dogs.
