you have been already told not to make your head shaped like the hump back of the camel

I'm sorry but was the Abaya meant to look "Sexy?"

@sweetpyramidgirl .. i agree with you sister i dont understand why they show the hair .. when it is clearly said to cover .. it looks kind of ugly ..i saw some girls giddy headed in the mall the other day i felt bad they might as well walk without the hijab.. instead of strugling out of it slowly.. they should atleast dress up to b graceful muslim woman nt revealing muslim woman .. forceing heads to turn back n stare at them..

@themodesty10 you are right that is the only part I dont like: showing of the hair. They should cover their hair fully. But I think most people have a stereotype of muslim women: eyebrows that are thick and attached, dull face, maybe a small mustach, long non-fitting layers of fabric that are heavy, unstylish clothes, no make-up... trapped by their family and husband. Hijab is freedom and non-muslims black or white always try to portray it as a prison.

i think its good muslim women are portrayed beautifully. Just because you are muslim should not mean you are restricted from make-up or shopping nice lingerie for your husband. Since I started wearing hijab I got bigger interest in make-up. Muslim women are portrayed as trapped and uglier and less glamorous while they should be portrayed as beautiful, etc...I see strange looks when you wear hijab with mascara or carry a nice bag or have nice clothes
when we wear hijaab...our hair must not b seen...it must b hidden properly..that is the true meaning to wear hijab...not to show our hair to strangers...

I like Khaleejia style abayas and hijabs but i really don't like how they wear them. I won't say all the sisters but most of these sisters wear hijabs as their hair accessory. They put so big hair clip under hijab that it looks like CAMEL HUMP. not just that if they covering half of their hair what is the point of wearing hijab. They can cover up everything with those nice abayas and hijabs to look beautiful.

@themodesty10 Thanks for your comment, khaleeja hijab style has not to do so much with religion but with culture and Tradition I think you're right, this has not to do with Islam ... but khaleeja Style is beautiful and luxurious ^ _ ^
