Oxford Matriculation 2007

Matriculation is the accepting of Oxford students into Oxford. It used to comprise of an exam in Latin, which has now been made redundant by high school exams or other assessments. Part of the matriculation ceremony is still carried out in Latin. All in all, it probably lasts approximately 20 minutes and is undertaken throughout the morning with the staggered entry of different colleges. Here is the matriculation into Oxford with the St Anne's college students on October 13, 2007. Afterward's we headed to the Turf Tavern, which holds a history that includes the achievements of former Australian Prime Minister Bob Hawke, who in the Tavern downed a yard glass of beer in 11 seconds to enter the Guiness book of records. The Tavern also claims to be where Bill Clinton 'smoked but didn't inhale' illegal substances.

@aaronjamesmoore Hello I'm a spanish university student,and I would like to ask you how studying at Oxford and/or at prestigious English universities is.How many students are there in your classroom?Here, the most prestigious universities haven't got more than 50 students per class,some of them even less.

Can you actually ask a question to the teacher (while he is explaining something), or personally speak with him after class? Do the teachers organize debates?
