How much was it?
-
@BamaKattt do you still recommend the ecoloblue after 9months
-
There is dust in the air and particulates still get past the initial filtering.
DON'T Paint or fumigate with Ecoloblue on!!
The first accumulator has charcoal filtering with UV light. then it goes though more carbon filters and reverse osmosis and even the main tank has UV light.
The problem is bacteria and microorganisms are crafty little buggers that can contaminate any part of your system. It is a good idea to have plenty of filtration and redundant sterilization functions in the process.

I have one... You have to clean the filters every week and replace the filters every 6 months and clean out the system with Hydrogen Peroxide. Once you get over the amount of maintenance/how to do it properly it is well worth it.
I especially love the hot water feature. If you live in high altitudes... it will not work as well because of the low relative humidity to air pressure. It takes forever especially in the winter in Denver. Spring and summer is not a problem with the swamp cooler.
