I wish the mike setting for Prince Rama Varma were set a little higher

Yes, I wish so too. Varmaji told me that only one of the mikes was working properly (He had both during his solo concert, an excerpt from which I have uploaded, titled "Guru-Shishya (Lavangi Excerpt)"and he gave that to Dr.Balamuralikrishna when he joined him for the thillana. I have rarely seen a person with such an attitude not just towards his gurus but even to his accompanists, friends, students and people in general.
