This is the type of music I love. I hope he goes completely alternative and they don't make him put out those candy ass records that AI is famous for. I don't think DC would ever agree to put out something he didn't believe in. Everyone is like I hope you put "always be my baby" or "time of my life" on your album! OMG, songs like that do not belong on a DC album! That's crap he sang on the show. Don't get me wrong, I loved all of his songs on the show but that's where they belong.

I totally agree with you! This so so much better then the songs where he had no choice. I don't think he would do that like Chris Daughtry did. David stays true to himself I don't think we have to worry about him:D

i think axium stuff is more david being true to himself lyrically. it will be interesting to see what the next album is like. he really should re do opitistic to a fault ...dc at his very best. previous stuff relates to lost loves....makes me wonder what he is going to write about in the future as all those bimbos that have come and gone hardly had sustance. we shall see.....love you dc......thank god we found you.

i really loved DC's new self-tited album David Cook. The lyrics and his voice were just too powerful- leaves you out for more. However, i also love all his songs with axium. I think that on his next album he should do more axium stuff than the stuff he's done on his new album. Or a better idea maybe a bit of both. "hard-core rock and soft/pop rock" I hope that DC consider on doing that. All his stuff during his time at axium keeps my head banging till it fell off. just like on his new album.

listen to kiss on the neck if u don't like the new album , its been a couple years since axium and artist style changes in time he still sings 100% rock so chill .he said himself he is more honset with his new music (witch he wrote 10 out of 12 songs) i love all his music go dc!

Alright, nobody disses anything having to do with my David! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his new album. His style really has changed quite a few times though...he went from this sort of hard-core stuff with Axium, to sweet stuff on Idol, and then...well...I'm not sure what he is right now...but it's been really cool to see him get better and better! ^_^ Love ya David!

david won AI by getting 56% of the final votes singing covers of pop songs. When he was with axium, he did not get that much attention. He himself has said he is grateful to American Idol for this national exposure. If he wants to go back to his rock and roll music, so be it but don't dis what pop music  finally made him famous.We, his new fans, love him for what he is. Hello, Billie Jean, Sparrow, I'm Alive and The First Time Ever I saw Your Face ,etc, will always remain david Cook for us
