How do you call it cheating when you are trying to keep yourself alive? I read the book and I know what your talking about. He knew what he was doing he just wanted to stay alive.

Amen. Lance was the slickest cheat of all. When they started looking for EPO, he switched to synthetic blood (developed for dialysis patients.) What a sham. But the public gets to buy a yellow bracelet.

Since 1991, there hasn't been a Tour de France winner who wasn't dirty. Pantani, Riis, Landis, et al. Lance is dirty. He's no hero. He's a lying sack of shit, like Barry Bonds, like Roger Clemens (another Texan.) At least Bjarn Riis had the integrity to admit he'd used EPO and give back his yellow jersey.

correction, it's called altitude training, and it does the same thing. Let me explain to you gentlemen what altitude training does.....it gets the athlete prepared for lack of oxygen, and builds endurance...doesn't sound like you are familiar with that.
