HRC must be accountable for their actions in the betrayal of transgender people in the ENDA debacle.

Its nice to know that the glb"T" supporters of HRC are dividing themselves apart because of this Tansgender issue. I agree, that they should not betray the Trans America, but you have to understand that the "T" was not added for years, and when it was added, it showed acceptance of transexuals and made sure they were equaly protected. But the GLBT community should not and cannot fight amongst eachother; is we do...nothing will change. Give it time ENDA, HRC will do whats right...

It was mentioned all over the internet, but I don't know that it was mentioned on the news. Usually when politics are affecting a minority it gets buried in the news if mentioned at all

Great! But it'll take a lot more than that. Ultimately the concept of the org is corrupt through and through. We need to do to them what they wish for us -- work toward their ultimate demise.
It's sad because they do good work for gays and lesbians. They should've stuck to that and allowed us our own voice. Money and opportunism got in the way though. They're too hegemonic to keep around and expect they'll "play nice."

Pretty gutsy, kudos y'all!
That said, I'm not buying the stuff from the folks at the Equality/HRC booth. Nice try, but when push comes to shove, you better know where they'll be.
Note the coding in the response: "we *hope* they will support ...." If they supported you as they say, why would they work for an organization with such a consistent history as HRC? Like Talking Heads said ... "same as it ever was, same as it ever was ...."
