we've restored a 300sl roadster, which went on to win best roadster at the mercedes benz show in the states, i think it was in a place called sunoma. the whole car was metal fineshed, no filler at all. we are now on to our second 300sl for the same owner, who also has a 300sl gullwing which was owned by stirling moss, not bad for a small country like new zealand
