  • Big garage, yup, it's 34 feet wide and 24 feet deep with a second half story. $1000 a foot, $34,000 for 34 feet. A bargain.

  • It's a '63 Impala SS. This year it's been on the road for 10 years and we've done almost 50,000 miles on it. In 2008 we took it to California and came back on Rt. 66. Trip of a lifetime. PJD

  • Well, if you live in Raleigh, NC you can go to Carolina Custom Builders and get them to build one of these cookie cutter garages. I just told them what size 34X24 and 3 doors and they did all the rest. I took the pictures and told them where to put it.

  • interesting design, no collar ties.

i don't think it needs any. the floor/ceiling trusses are replacing them. good job.

what's the height of them trusses?

  • The collar ties went in later, but as you point out they are not needed except for hanging the ceiling on if I ever finish the upstairs. Right now it's just used for storage. Floor trusses are 24 inches high. They span the full 24 feet front to back. PJD

  • Those truss joists are awesome. Lots of span with wide open space underneath. Looks like a great building. People are gonna cry about the cost. Hell, just the concrete was probably a king's ransom lately. Stuff's expensive. All of it. Nice vid!

  • Damn big garage, you are talkin bout damn big money

  • how much did it cost to build

  • very nice worth every penny love the old car btw what is it

  • @pjdaoust That is a nice garage, but I couldnt pay $34,000 for it. That seems very high for a hollow building. It is a big garage but its still just an empty shell of a building. I would like to have something like that if I could get it a lot cheaper, even if I had to do some of the work myself kinda like you saved $4500. I couldnt pay $38,500 for something that takes a few days to put together. But I guess if you have the money, go for it.

  • Nice video and nice to watch someone else do this to see how they do it.

  • Very clean. Very efficient. The Storage Masters are pleased.

  • come on man am sure from watching thatvid u could get very close to the dimentions and sizes but good job they made of it especially for the 2 min 39 they were on the job ken
