i like mulit door elevators. very nice. riding this elevator is would be fun. it runs perfectly. interesting sounds. seeing through the windows is nice too. manual doors also let the elevator fewer buttons.

a modern version would have x, xS and xR. replace the x with floor numbers.

@ATITANIC1992 Yeah, understood... I am a person who loves machines In the way most people love people and often this is over "user interfaces" (buttons, displays, even signage...)....Wouldn't it rock to be able to make others as happy as I am sometimes made?

@ATITANIC1992 that career never even occurred to me, and I'd even want to do that if I didn't want something else more... do you mean design the mechanics of the system or the custom way each elevator is at each location?
