that is what amazes me so in Handel, so so so many incredible arias And when sung by singers as Intelligent as DiDonato who add incredibly beautiful Ornaments (her Ornaments are always of the highest quality).
I really wish she prepares very hard for Maria Stuarda, she can perform Miracles in that role with her Instrument - in our days though singers prepare much less for each role than they should that is why often the results are not of "historical status"
