Dark Knight - Joker Pencil Scene Tribute

This is a little re-creation we put together of Heath Ledger's performance in the Dark Knight. Specifically the Magic Pencil Scene. This is one of the most remembered and talked about moments in the film. It helps establish the depth of the Joker's madness and the fact that he does not know the meaning of fear; even in the presence of Gotham's top mob bosses.

We shot this in one day (about eight hours) and probably has the largest group of actors on set at one time of any one of our films.

We hope it is a fitting tribute to Ledger's spectacular performance and Christopher Nolan's wonderfully crafted film.

Thanks for the kudos and honest feedback. We wanted to do this project as a tribute to Heath. Coming so short is a testament to Heath's originality and talent. I am not ashamed to say we missed the mark. Heath was just that amazing. In hindsight, I'd like to dedicate the effort of our production to his memory.

Very good, a LOT of effort, editing, it all looks fantastic but the acting and the Joker impersonation was a bit... Over the top. The way some lines were said, body actions and stuff were well, as I said over the top.

Nevertheless, this has more things going for it then it does against it, so kudos.

I really like the effort that went into this production, but the Joker performance wasn't as good as it could have been. I don't want to sound snobbish, I really don't, but I feel like you rushed your lines and you didn't go 'all the way' with the craziness (eyes rolling, licking the lips). You don't appear to be a psycho like the Joker, now you kinda look... nervous :P You're really close with the voice though, if you'd listen to it a few times and practice it, you'll nail it, I'm sure :)
