Check out the song... the stage design, the dancers in their minimal clothing, the pep-talk lines sung to excite the crowd ;), the 'professional' audiences with the right-hand fist thrusts... it goes on and on... just watch! ;)
This movie released 20 years ago and feels like a lifetime ago... movie-making in India has certainly come a long long way since then.
By the way, this movie was a big hit back in the day... :)

Mandakini has no charisma. Round face and big light coloured eyes shouldn't prevent her from trying harder at dance. She just ruine this film. Even smita Patil who is not a great dancer is a killer in Dance Dance when she tries her bit.
Manda was just another 3years long starlette, no more...
