money comes from ads on the site, not according to the number of correct answers. Breen claims there were too many hurdles to becoming a registered nonprofit group, which would expose his books to public scrutiny. So he stated "you'll just have to trust him". He "said" he's donating 100 percent of the revenue to the World Food Program. So since the money comes from ads, (and maybe only clicks on ads) then playing the game effectively does nothing.

The sponsors only pay for the rice when someone PLAYS and gets a CORRECT ANSWER. People 'donate' their time to get the sponsors to donate the food.

You didn't donate anything. You played a game. A sponsor donated money and bought the rice. (and gave this guy a nice profit.
