Had this fence system since 2000, and reason i still have it 13 years later, simple, there's nothing else out there to match the accuracy and repeatability, extremely well made and engineered and very robust, cannot recommend this system highly enough.

I have never used this fence, I use (and love) a Vega fence with a Wixey positioner to attain simular accuracy.  If you have a nice fence you'll think you have no need for a positioner but once you use a fence with positioner you will wonder how you got along without it.

I've got the LS positioner on my table saw and offset router table. I love it. I'd hardly call it a stupid design, and if that's your definition of stupid, feel free to keep using your tape measure to check those dimensions and make those tweaks with all that stock your wasting.

I own this fence system as well and it's great. Very accurate, easily adjusted, and looks pretty cool too :]
