Plus, it's nice to have a day to promote something positive to strive for on a personal level, even if the idea of global unity is incomprehensible. But I guess if they incorporated gift exchange as part of Peace Day celebration, the idea would really take off, huh? Simpletons.

Listen up - Peace One Day gets kids vaccinated in wore-torn countries by allowing medics to provide care minus danger. I'm sure the founder, Gilley, would love having Peace EVERY Day, but if we can barely get ONE day of cease fire, how do we expect higher aspirations? Why ridicule the effort? He and everyone involved knows that this isn't going to end conflict; they only want a day for medical attention. If a few internet junkies can't understand the need, world peace isn't in our grasp at all.
