Just watched the video man awesome .was getting into a lot heavier stuff to play so I can pick up my speed but man you nailed it...fender or not nice sound

@RyanzGuitarz Personally beileve its what ever you get it feel for. I mean tell yngwie malmsteen that fender strats are not metal.....go ahead I'll wait.

Nice job bro but seriously if you're that good why are you playing a Squire? Or is it a Fender?and Line 6 is ok but get a real overdrive if you really want dimebag sound.

@Gadaffied Hey, thanks a lot for the comment. The guitar is in fact a fender, mexican made, but definitely not a squire. Sure it's not the best guitar in the world, and it might not be typical for metal, but it's all i've known. I personally like the feel of strats. With that said though, I do have plans to buy a new guitar soon. As for the pod, i made the tone in this video when i was new to it. I feel i can come up with something much better now. I think the pods great 4 my purposes

@GKqe2 I'm using a Line 6 POD X3. If you don't know what that is, I highly recommend checking them out.

Whats the tuning?? standard E?
markingfeat 11 months ago
@markingfeat No, it is not in standard E tuning. Dimebag himself played it in Standard D tuning with an extra 1/4th step down. However in this video I am just playing it in normal Drop D tuning. Either way works.
