Through the Brazilian Club of Boston College, http://bcbrazilclub.weebly.com/index.html, students can take classes in capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian form of martial arts that combines fighting, dancing, singing and acrobatics. Here's a look at a recent meeting of the Capoeira Club as they prepared for their performance at the AHANA Leadership Council's annual "Showdown" dance competition on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Conte Forum - details at http://tinyurl.com/ylgoc9o For more information email bcbclistserv@gmail.com
If everything goes ok, I will be going to boston in september, and will be staying next to boston college! Is it necessary to be enrolled in that college to train capoeira with you guys??
