Rare Color Fashion Show filmed in 1925.

If you're planning a 1920's party, fancy dress or just looking for a good resource for fashion from the 1920's, this beautiful archive film is an education.
Womens Styles were elegant and even contemporary. As more and more women bobbed their hair, hats were tighter to the head and the most popular style was the cloche hat. Accessories included beads and necklaces.

  • @bygten88 The good old days before professional editing software. Word of advice, nothing you see on television, magazines, or in movies is real.

  • That blue dress was BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • is a coloured film, really is a b/w film.

    nice

  • Beautiful fashions, and song too. Really enjoyed it. Carol

  • It's all beautiful, but the models look so awkward in front of the camera, haha!

  • UGG!! The music just ruins the whole thing.

  • @LapisGarter Nothing on the radio is real either. I uploaded an 8-track of Al Stewart Time Passages, whole tape...it's running a little slow because a belt stretched, but fixed after I uploaded that tape. He has a higher pitched voice anyway so the slight difference in speed is okay. The point is, it's 100% real analog. At least an upload to youtube preserves it's character. Thanks Youtube.

  • DAT HAT

  • @identitykid I agree. Song's way too anachronistic, but I don't really hate the song. It just does not evoke the boyish classiness of the dresses.

  • Beautiful video, but for the love of god, WHY did you choose a 1950s song to go with this? The misplaced music totally ruins the spirit.

  • Love the fashion HATE the song...it's a 1950 R& B for a 1920 display. I LOVE all the old vaudeville music which was fun, risque and could have been SO appropriate for this time, so sexy so good...WHY Why Why did you have to ruin it?

  • @ManilaSyndicate this is back in the day before photoshops, plastic surgeries, fad diet, and fake eyelashes revolutionized the way people view "beauty" in the media. ;) just keep that in mind.
