I would love to support Black-owned business, but there are two issues : (1) The products and services that I normally seek out are not sold by Black-owned businesses and (2) where are the Black-owned businesses? And I'm not talking about the music or fashion industries.

only service which is black here in harlem ny is beauty parlors and junk food take out restaurants.there are so many black folks who wanted to do business here but could not set up shop.the only stuff that can be set up here is business that means nothing to the community like take out food and beauty parlors.the black businesses that bring something positive to the neighborhood are already decades there.all new stuff is cheap crap 99c stores all africans.

Has anyone noticed that when black businesses do survive they usually also have whites and others working in them (in the higher levels) and for some reason people no longer seem to identify them as "Black Businesses" this includes the Black people who own them because they are less concerned with the label and it's positive and negative conotations and more concerned with the business itself. Maybe more survive than is noted?

Black folk dont support black business cause they dont like to acknowledge that they are black. Sista dont answer inquiries and questions from morons, they are not about what you are about. Black love and black advancement.

Capitalism is a myth. It's a bad idea from the start. This is why the world is falling but black women will be the last to get it because they're to busy tryin to be someone else. And whites created this mind frame. The GOD's own this world, and it's not a business. white made businesses to hide the raping of the planet. But who am I, the Elohim. Yall can't stop this because it's not yours. F*%k what you heard.
@sheltonw2 I take it that you don't like black women

Personally I think Black people don't support black business because they are good at marketing. I mean a lot of times I have no idea they exist. Secondly black people often sell their establishments to soon and to non black people.

I think they pick the wrong products to sell, they aren't consistent when they do go into business and other black people think they should get discounts because they're black. A business couldn't survive giving discounts all the time. Customer service sucks and I don't know where this behavior comes from is it taught or what? I think black folks just need to take classes in business instead of just winging it cause that ain't working
