@TheBlank77 Just because it shows Hondo MacLean's Hurricane (which did indeed come out in a later episode), that doesn't mean that this wasn't the original opening to the first few episodes of the series. This is because series episodes are always planned and filmed ahead of their screening. The phenomenon of "revealing" upcoming characters in the title sequence isn't new; it's still being done in contemporary cartoons.
Besides, I definitely remember this as the original title sequence :P
This was not the original opening....reason being....It showed the '57 blue chevy that raises up onto 6 wheels with the cannon on the front.....this was a gift to him, when he lost his jeep in another episode.
Thanks. This brings back childhood memories. I used to own a couple of toys from this series. One is the antagonist airplane/helicoptor hybrid , the other is a van that opens up into a turret.
