maybe if you guys like, I don't know, like,,dummed down this video,made it understandable to the US. Then we will help.Like maybe make some colorful posters.and a nice beat to the background.Then we might understand.Also, all this talk about disease is depressing. Maybe put a couple white people in the video.And the US likes a good villain. So if you could find a new face to blame for the diseases going around in Africa. I'm sure we can make a one step plan to bring more war to you country.

US does not bring "security" to a region, look at Israel, the Taliban (funded by the US agains soviet invasion in Afghanistan), all the Kissinger-Nixon dictators put in place in south America... They don't bring security they back henchmen like Museveni and Kagamé, decades ago they killed Lumumba (with the belgians) and supported Mobutu. There is no such thing as a free lunch and security brought to Iraq, Afghanistan, etc does come with a price tag the people pay, and it's not pretty...

I guess I'm missing it, so are they saying Koney is not an issue that needs to be resolved? I'm pretty sure there are other issues in the country but this seems like a pride thing that Uganda people didn't get famous from the Koney2012 mission...Who speaks against someone wanting a notorious murder to pay for his crimes?

I'm an academic, now humanitarian agent, we don't like conspiracies, we like figures. Museveni, who depends on the army and his brother Salim Saleh, needs a Kony to justify his increasing military budgets while his budget is under scrutiny from World Bank and donors. between 1996 and 2006 this budget was multiplied by three, while poverty grows...Uganda and Rwanda are the "Israel" of the region, used to control all other countries. Both dictatorships, so they don't owe to their citizens...

I'm more expert in the DR Congo, country where conflict and ressource stealing go hand in hand. Ouganda is for example exporting stolen ressources from DRC (gold,Coltan) labelled as their own. Angola is drilling oil in the territorial waters of the Congo, Rwanda gas in the Kivu Lake, and Uganda will do it in the Albert Lake where Tullow oil company is extracting. Military presence influence the decision to allow contracts. Museveni and gen. Salim Saleh serves more the US than its own people
