Inside 2-horse carriage, passing a tour wagon (draft horse team of Percherons) crossing stone bridge above Stanley Creek, Acadia National Park, Mt. Desert Island Maine. Cruise ships stopping in Bar Harbor and other tourists do shore excursions taking carriage rides from Wildwood Stables. Our young horses are Arabian-Percheron brothers in training.

  • Too bad people in cars can't do this.

  • Cars have the park loop road, and can drive up Cadillac Mtn. which was originally built as a carriage road by Mr. Rockefeller but turned over to autos.
