Indeedy! Tho I'd say that the criticism of Hannan is unfounded. As Iceland may well have had less regulation than most countries, they (you? hehe) still weren't free from government "control" of the economy, far from it, and were lead by international regulation, and obviously it's the "little" regulation they had that brought them down the horrible path. Hannan would be right in moving towards less regulation - it just happened to be that Iceland was a fatal example, and for the wrong reasons.
