Here are all the places I went for each trick in case you can see:
Trick 1 - Personalize - display settings - monitor
Trick 2 - Start - Windows Update
Trick 3 - Exit all taskbar icons
Trick 4 - Start - All Programs - Start Up
Trick 5 - Start - Computer - Properties - Advance System Settings - Advanced Tab - Performance Settings - Adjust for best performance - Custom - Click on the last 2, the 4th from the last and the thumbnails check box.
Trick 6 - Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup
Trick 7 - Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter
Trick 8 - Start - Search "Run" - Run - In the run bar type "%temp%" - Enter - Select everything there and delete - Skip the ones that cant be deleted.
Trick 9 - Firefox - Tools - Clear Private Dates - check all but passwords - Enter
Trick 10 - Start - Run - Type "msconfig.exe" - Services Tab - and - Start Up Tab - Deselect the ones you don't want and don't want starting up.

you set your display settings to the size of your monitor...putting it to high is a no no if your monitor is only 20 inches

@GreenbergSwaGGer I use my other computer, I deleted the wireless config on my PC. And now I can't connect through wireless. But I can connect to the internet if I plug an ethernet.
