Master of Puppets - Metallica (Cover)

This is a performance/cover of Master of Puppets by Metallica. This youtube video is like 15 years in the making as this was the first song that I ever learned as far as metal goes. It's still one of my favorite songs ever and is extremely fun to play. It's a standard that every metal guitarist should know. Even if they can't play it up to par they should know at least the Intro and verse riffs. It's just fabulous. So finally, I've got the opportunity to show my prowess on this cover. It's a shame that I have to play it on my old Peavy. But I guess it should be that way since this was the guitar that I first started learning MOP on. Enjoy....

Once again I'm forced to use my shitty strat so the sustain is awful. Plus the strings are really old and ready to be changed. That explains some of the sustain loss + the fact that these are stock Peavy pickups. Easily the weakest in my entire guitar line. Having said all that, I think the song and this video kick ass.

@RippedSupreme Thanks man. Umm... fretboard is just a regular Maple on a strat body. Nothing really special about it... I just take real good care of my gear. This guitar is16 years old and completely stock.
