This adult Ivory Gull was in Plymouth MA in late January 2009. The video shows the bird feeding on a chicken that someone put out for it. Ivory Gulls are extremely rare in the lower 48, but this year 2 have shown up in Mass. The other was in Gloucester. Almost all vagrant Ivory Gulls seen the states are immatures. both of these birds were adults.
