It's funny how pro-life idiots care SOOO MUCH about the UNBORN fetus when it's inside the mother, but when it's born, and becomes an actual human being they couldn't care less about it.
-
@leiapeison whose cares if it fails, you're dumb.
-
@ilovetheview47 contraceptives fail and men sabatoge birth control to keep women. this isnt as simple as "give the baby up". if that was the solution abortion wouldnt exist. the fact is is that this is a vital service for those who need it.
-
@leiapeison you act like the woman had no say in getting pregnant
-
the issue is not whether the unborn are human. the issue is whether another human being gets to use my body against my will in an intimate manner and also LIVE inside my body. such a right does not exist!! i own my sex organs and i get to choose who uses them and when. no one has a right to force me to share the intimacy of my body with them. it doesnt get more intimate than pregnancy. you talk about slavery. well, FORCED PREGNANCY is the cruelest form of slavery there is.

I dont understand why we can research into pleasing everyone. Do research further research along the lines of invitro fertilisation, take it a step further so that blastocysts or foetus's can be extracted and placed into cold storage, then have a surrogate who wants the child carry it. If this were possible, women still have a choice not to carry the foetus and the foetus's arent terminated.
Why cant people think of a way to appease all sides rather than spit in each others faces?

What natzi ratzi needs to realize is that the vatican does not govern the US! If you don't believe in abortion then don't have one--it really is that simple!!

And slaves where 'taught a lesson' when they were caught attempting to escape. They were brutally beaten and put to death, sometimes their family members where put to death because the runaway slave could not be found. Only it wasn't called 'put to death', it was called 'taught a lesson', or 'made an example of'.
That was all legal too.
The reason why different terms are used in relation to injustices towards human life is to make humans think it is o.k. to CHOOSE to do the wrong.

Very well said, cchl 1. And I agree with Pope Benedict, a man whose insight is not readily appreciate by many in this world, but who nevertheless has a very clear and sober understanding of human nature.

Yeah and Jews in the holocaust were "disposed of" doesn't make it any more wrong or a crime against humanity.
I killed a spider yesterday. Did I aborted a spider? Tumors are killed using chemotherapy. Does that mean Booth administered chemotherapy on Lincoln? Of course not, different words have different meanings. Lincoln was assassinated. Fetuses are aborted. Injured horses are put down. Rosebuds are clipped. Get it? There's a reason why different terms are used. Most people can clearly see that the actions & resulting ethical implications vary depending on the situation & who or what is involved.

Comments such as yours only serve as further proof that former Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) was right when he said we are living in a dictatorship of moral relativism. Only under such a dictatorship could anyone possibly fail to value all human life equally. How very tragic. We'll pray for you.

Abraham Lincoln wasn't aborted or euthanized. He was assassinated. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Abraham Lincoln was killed. Innocent babies are killed via abortion. Terri Schiavo and others like her are killed via euthanasia. The only difference is in the word used to describe the horrific act.
