  • nice video, but i have a very important question..should the precharge be the same as the water supply line even if the tank will be placed on a HOT WATER HEATING SYSTEM (Boiler). Because on a different video i see that they say that it should be charged between 12- 25 psi, since the tank will be placed after a "water pressure regulator valve" which is normally in the range of 12-25 psi??

  • Excellent video !!! So simple even I understood it !!! Nice job Watts team !!! To the previous poster, the tank has to be pre-charged so there is some resistance or back-pressure to the water coming into it.
