Rose Hall stands on the island of Jamaica. Annie Palmer, the White Witch, haunts Rose Hall, along with her victims. She married John Palmer, who owned Rose Hall, and a large sugar plantation. She was feared by all slaves working on the plantation, for any displeasing behavior would lead them to public whippings or death. Annie would have affairs with slaves, and later murder them and bury them in unmarked graves. She later killed her husband. Annie started practicing voodoo and her slaves taught her all they knew. She was then known as "The White Witch of Jamaica", and ended up killing many people as well.

Annie's housekeeper was much beautiful than Annie herself. She got jealous and killed her. It was said that the grandfather of housekeeper choked her to death.
