  • Absolutely brilliant. I think that 5 second scene of Bubbles walking up the stairs and sitting down to dinner might be the single most emotionally affecting thing in all entertainment. If there was ever evidence that TV can be just as good as film, that's it. We've followed this guy for 60 hours and we know what it means for him to be at that dinner table.

  • It's actually not the scenes in which we discover how the characters have ended up but the scene in which we discover how the main character (the city of Baltimore) ends up right where it started off. An endless loop.

  • lets go home

  • @JSasRays i have to agree with that. you dont get to watch characters grow and develop over several years in movies. films probably have better comedies than tv, but as far as dramas go tv lately is just superior.

  • @jhmills1 I always thought that the best tv shows beat the best films hands down. There is only so much you can do in the 2-3hrs that a film lasts. Granted, 90% of the shows on tv are complete shit, but if it's done right tv shows can reach a level that films cant. I mean how the fuck are you suppose to present the wire in a film format and have it as good?

  • The best ending

  • @fresh7281 Better comparison to Namond would be D'Angelo. Namond was being forced into the drug game like D'Angelo but Namond was able to escape unlike D.

  • The best ending of a series finale ever. David Chase take notes.

  • @jhmills1 TV is infinitely better than film. There is no movie in existence that is better than the wire or breaking bad

  • 3:45 Wallace and Poot!!

  • This serie was more than a serie...I dunno, I have the feeling I almost learned something. I know it sounds cliché but I think anyone who watch it got a similar feeling. (well, I hope :))

BTW; I just started to watch "Top Boy" and I have to say, this serie remindes me a lot The Wire.

  • all the characters were my favourite except maybe cheese!
