@mendelbot If you believe what happened warranted the response that it received, then fair enough but we'll never agree. However it's never gonna help Israeli's reputation of heavy-handed, disproportionate force used against the Palestinian's if they carry on this way. Was it a ploy to provoke Israel? Possibly. Could it have been handled better? Definately. I wouldn't know how to react to an armed siege at the dead of night, would you? Why couldn't they just approach them during the day?

The whole thing was a farce by the “Al Fakhoora Project,". The actors in the region know very well that there is no trouble with authentic aid going through. They could send it right through Israel. But that wouldn't give such an opportunity for embarrassing Israel with violence they know the world will blame on Jews.

If these thugs had acted in a peaceful manner, nothing would have happened. Period.

@mendelbot What evidence do you have to support such claims? Grainy video footage of Arabs hitting Israeli's with poles, after being boarded in the dead of night by armed commando's? If they had been transporting sophisticated weaponry why was it not used? Does that not strike you as a bit odd? If these flotilla's were sent to do as you claim, why did 5 of the flotilla's comply with the armed forces and what could they possibly have to achieve with their "improvised weaponry"? Doesn't add up!

Speaking of immature little pricks, let's talk Israel hate: Sending thug flotillas simply to attack people trying to their job and secure their country? Oh yes, paragons of peace, lucidity. Far more reasonable than renouncing the destruction of the Jews. That's what these flotillas are really about: trying to keep the hate alive.
