An animation based on the life of the founder of the Jesuit order, St. Ignatius of Loyola, written, produced and narrated by Jason Kapell of the Fairfield University Media Center
@mariap1919 Bottom line - You"re trying to justify bad behavior by using examples of bad behavior in defense of the Jesuits. By bringing up poor behavior of other orders or individuals who call themselves Catholic and in practise, are not, you're supporting my point. Unless of course you're a true believer in the Jesuits and think this is OK!
@mariap1919 U take facts out of context. Those who fought for the survival of the Vatican did so becasue it was their country. What business do Jesuits have joining rebels in killing? Its not their county. Its not what they were send to do. The Pope condemned it so thats it they're wrong. If I take your example and agree with your point and maintain it was wrong then the Jesuits would still be wrong. Either way, you're not too bright!! They're a quasi religious order and are heritics.
@1seticat ...as far as priests fighting and killing government troops: do you know that the Vatican is a STATE and had a full, well equipped army which often waged wars again neighboring states and principalities in what we now call Italy until the 1890's?? and they were usually lead by the ruling POPE??!! think he killed a few guys?!
@1seticat HUM, I don't even want to know where you get your very incorrect and biased info and really dont' care..... The Spiritual exercises are used regularly by many archdiocese, orders and monasteries around the world. my guess is you are somewhere very happy wearing your fiddle back vestments with back facing the congregation and I am sure you are a big opponent of Dorothy Day as well.
@mariap1919 Actually JP II was about to ban the order in 1983. They are intellectually dishonest and heretics. The order began its decline in the 50's and keeps going down hill.
I'm watching a video about a talking olive for college. Ohhh man.
