@hamillj11 the voice was based on Ringo Starr i believe. and maybe a little John Lennon. but i think it was mostly Ringo Starr.
Jess Harnell was brilliant as Wakko!

@jsly621, heh, just to nitpick your nitpick, Salem's location is actually correct. Note that the star is noticeably south of the Columbia River where Portland is, but not so south as to mistaken it for Eugene =P

Here are some nits to pick:
In Oregon, though Wakko says "Salem" the map shows the location of Portland
The Jeopardy-like question asks for the states "...and their capitols" should be "capitals."
Maryland is not known for its clam chowder.
