@1yogalover It's best drunk within 10 minutes.. but the magnesium/water reaction is restricted to the available hydrogen ions so it can't 'over-alkalise'.

Magnesium does appear to do it. The only way to PROVE any technology 'hexagonalises'; water is through some very expensive tests. If you think your water is hexagonal let's see the PROOF of it in a test that we can understand.

i just got my Alkapod :) What happens if the water is left in the Alkapod for hours? Does the water get too alkaline or does it stop at certain level. Can I drink the water that was in Alkapod for hours. I like to take it with me when I go out and I don't want to drink it all at once.

Hylo, baking soda will alkalize you but it never gets past the stomach: that's why it is used as an antacid. The negative charge of AlkaPod gives AlkaPod water the ability to absorb far faster. Drinkers always comment on its ease of absorption.

Would it be acceptable to use BAKING SODA and put in into 1 cup of water and drink it?

I have heard that Baking Soda helps make water more Alkaline.

I bought an alkapod and it arrived today. We have a water filter at home which is great but the water from an alkapod tastes so much better. This is a fantastic product.

@CdoGGx Let it sit until it is cold, temperature should be above 60 but not boiling.. Im getting mine soon and the one Im buying from told me this. You should leave the top off while you do it though, but I think the filter should be in.. I will let you know more when I get it in a couple of weeks. :D
