  • I wish everyone would stop compaining about the Olympics and Cheng Fei's vault. Honestly as an American it is very embarrassing to hear other Americans complaining whenever an American doesn't win gold. It gives us a bad reputation. But I would just like to say to people who aren't Americans, that most of us aren't like that. The ignorant ones don't make up the majority of Americans. So please don't think badly of us!

  • wow major headache... i didnt understand what you're saying.

  • She has amazing height but not lots of length. Is that a deduction? Cause if it's not seeriously I don't understand why that wasn't at least a 9.85. It was AMAZING

  • @evoandy honestly, cheng fei is one of my favorite gymnasts of all time so id prefer her amanar over maroneys every time jus because shes so awesome! her technique on the vault is perfection! its almost unbelievable how well she does the amanar.. i hope she can do these vaults this well this year for the olympics!!

  • @MistRDonuT94 She has better form in the air, blocks more squarely off the table, and uses better technique to start the twists. IMO of course. Maroney has greater amplitude and finishes it higher in the air, but I still prefer Fei's execution.

  • @bernardmvella yea i know.... well at least we'll c all of the US contenders at the olympic trials next year! i hav a feeling the olympic trials this year r going to b epic! luckily i get to c it live all four days since its like 2hrs away from where i live.... im so excited!!

  • @MistRDonuT94 I know me too! I think the teams should be increased instead, and maybe change 6-3-3 which no one likes, it's so much more interesting when there's specialists, but a whole competition of all-arounders means that you might not be the best for winning an olympic gold. Gymnasts like He Kexin and Annia Hatch would never have made it to the olympics and won medals if everyone had to be an all-arounder...

  • @bernardmvella yea but she could totally pull off the cheng.... with practice!! haha i think she should try an add it for the olympics cuz otherwise she might not b as valuable on a 5-person team... (i hate that theres only 5 spots now)

  • @MistRDonuT94 Their Amanars are about about equal but Cheng Fei's second vault also had a 6.5 start value, Makayla's has a 5.7 or 5.6 or something I think...

  • cheng fei has better form in the air than mckayla maroney

  • Her vaults are gorgeous, and where I do think this is a fantastically performed vault, I'd say her form is better in 08. She and Mckayla Maroney will forever have the best amanars.

  • @evoandy mckayla maroney's is probably just as good!!
