A bird strike simulated on X-Plane with front landing gear damaged. That's what you can't do with MS Flight Simulator.

  • what airport is this?

  • SBSP - Congonhas - Brazil

  • Alright well obviously Microsoft simulators like FSX are superior. Why else would Jeppesen, Boeing, Cessna, AOPA, and so on sponsor FSX? And why wld 99% of all virtual airlines support MFS and most addons on the internet. Exactly.

  • Only X-Plane is FAA-Certified. For Microsoft, Flight Simulator is on game category.

  • alright maybe x-plane has this. but FSX and FS2004 are so much professional thats why everyone with virtual airlines uses it! Notice how your plane spun around - exactly not too realistic. I would rather have better planes, graphics, and everything else than a birdstrike option ha

  • Look my other videos and you will see that's not because it has bird strikes that it's more realistic than FS.

  • @panton41

Dont forget the new Microsoft Flight that is coming out!

  • i feel bad for the bird

  • Pilot stunt guy drifter

  • MSFS is no longer under development. X-Plane is. That pretty much settles the argument about what's better. Unless MSFT resurrects the development team FS X will become more and more outdated to the point of irrelevancy.

X-Plane 10 is set to come out in March/April 2011 and looking to have graphics that put FS X to shame.

  • X Plane sucks- it's official...

  • @LH164 - For the record, Boeing and Cessna have both officially licenced aircraft models made for X-Plane.

  • You gotta love the neverending X-Plane versus MSFS arguments. I've used both. I'll stick with the one that actually simulates real aerodynamic behavior, and doesn't require a supercomputer to run smoothly.

  • I don't see how X-plane can be so real if you can fly through buildings and trees, in MSFS you actually collide with them just like in real life. Also I have never seen any 747's in real life that can land, takeoff, and stay afloat in the water like they can in X-plane. I don't understand why the FAA would certify something that fake. Also how an A-380 can handle like an F-16 and do 2 barrel rolls per second and still fly, in real life the A-380 would rip apart.

  • @bachian X-Plane seems to be more physics-inclined, focused on the dynamics of flight. It's quite obvious that FSX focuses more on eye-candy.

  • FSX is vastly inferior to x-plane. The flight performance is just cheesy in FSX.
