River Monster: Huge Flathead Catfish Caught On Tape

I caught this Monster Flathead on the Minnesota River during late Spring 2009. Biggest fish to date and the fight was like nothing else I have experienced. The fish was caught on a live sucker minnow with an Gama Octi-Circle Hook. Caught and released to swim again and a good fishing video to look back upon for years. This fish could potentially become a Minnesota State Record Flathead Catfish someday. Let's hope we can catch it when it grows another 30 lbs.

@eers2ya Don't blame me. Applying for YouTube Partnership and the original intro audio violated their copyright policy. @SHACKBASH but why music at all? I've always wondered that? Are you trying to cover up background noise? Couldn't you have done a narrative of your trip or something? Just wondering. Nice fish though.

@itsmen8 Very Good point itsmen8. I like! The original had only 20 seconds of into music that YouTube picked up and that is a no no when going Partner. To save the video and its views this was the only option but since then I have started making and working with my own royalty free music as so this will not be an issue with further videos. I think I am going to remake and then attach a new video so you can hear us talking.

@eers2ya It took and covered the Amboy Dukes with Ted Nugent across the entire video. We were in the KOTC and out of respect I did not want the background shown. Plus I like to screw with my fellow catfisherman buddies LOL.
