I always will remember my mum singing this when I was a little boy. Nostalgia is beautiful, but impossible to grasp hold of.

From the days when singers could hold a song without the need to go.. AH-AWAHWAHWUAAAAAAAARGH all over it.
-
they repeated this vidieo on a documenty on the sixties, the best song is her singing homeward bound with jhon walker from the walker brothers
-
swinging sixties...

Bellísima Sandie ( aún más guapa de perfil) y magnífica canción. Supera a las otras versiones ( y hay muchas)

Oh I remember her so well from her voice. She used to go onstage barefoot because she couldn't find shoes that fit her feet. She was called "the barefoot singer".
There also was a less successful singer named Julie Driscoll who had 1,000 curls in her hair.

such a great piece of music. i think this song whenever i see a distant elusive aircraft in the deep night sky.
