In this clip, with the Irish trailing 34-12, Notre Dame's Tony Belden blocks Jay Wyatt's punt which is then recovered by Steve Cichy and returned for the Irish score. Joe Montana's pass to Vagas Gerguson completed the two-point conversion to bring the score to 34-20.

  • "That ball can be advanced."

"And it's being advanced, right into the end zone"

    Haha

  • yes thats Joe Montana the comeback king !

  • The coldest New Year's Day EVER in Dallas. Also, the Southwest Conference champion Houston team was relatively new to the conference, so not many Texas-based fans were into the Houston Cougars at the time.

    Mostly the weather, though.

  • i always wanted to wonder. why was there a low crowd at a major college bowl game? let me guess, the weather.
