Adam Miller warms up before a November 15 Arizona Fall League start between the Surprise Rafters and the Phoenix Desert Dogs. Miller had to leave the game in the first inning due to a blister on his thumb. The 6-foot-4, 195 pound right hander was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first supplemental round of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft out of McKinney High School in Texas. Miller went 5-4 with a 4.82 earned run average with Triple-A Buffalo of the International League in 2007. He fanned 68 batters in 65 and 1/3 innings.
Believe it or not i used to pay ball with this kid. We used to ride bikes and joke around at school. Kid has always thrown hard and had pinpoint control.

They should convert him to be their closer like the Sox did with Papelban. Would seem to make sense, anything better than Joe-Blow Borowski.

This guy is an asshole. His mom is the biggest botch I've ever met. One of those moms that sits in the stands yelling at other players and blaming the catcher if her son pitches bad. He married a blond ditz from high school that is way out of his league who didn't even know his name until he got a million dollar bonus. Believe me this guy doesn't have the intangibles to become a good mlb pitcher. At most he'll be a decent reliever with consistent arm problems.
