  • hey hamsterhill you have some awesome tuts helped alot thanks. one question on this importing a background stuff... does the image (the one your using as a background) have to be a certain file type?

  • @haddon660 i dont think blenders too picky on its image formats... but you could test it

  • hey I have a bit of an issue... I keep improting my background image to reference, but when I zoom in or anything it sort of glitches and re-sizes... is that a setting? Does that mean anything to you?

  • what you mean it zooms in and out as you zoom in and out? dose it stay the same size relative to the objects in the scene? if you want to scale it up or down in relation to the scene then you need to go into that dialog box again where you imported it and then change the scale there.

  • PS: Are you a kiwi? You're accent implies you might be!

  • yes i am.

  • Can't find background image in VIew, Blender 2.58.1

  • @dragoblade1 cheers, i got it sorted :)

  • @haddon660 I am not sure about all formats..

but i can confirm that tga jpeg and png work

also make sure its not an image that has layers(not flat) or there might be problems.

  • or you could look it up on wikipedia (Which has tons of SVG's) then download the logo and import it. :D

  • Sorry, I can't hear you...

  • Dude, speak up! I realize I am American and to me you have an accent but you totally sound like you are just mumbling.

  • @hamsterhill cheers man i think i have sorted it. (i think you have to make a copy of the file and save the copy to a different location for blender to regognise it)

btw this is a great tut, shame about the voice level but i just turned my speakers up lol so it didnt really matter. 10/10
