The commissioners are helping destroy the Everglades. Barry Silver, the best lawyer on the face of the planet gives them a piece of his mind. Florida Power and Light (FPL) is currently building a 3800 megawatt powerplant on the edge of the northern headwaters of the everglades. It is called the West County Energy Center (WCEC). On Fossil Fool's Day (April 1st) A dozen activist clowns took part in a bike caravan around Palm Beach County, starting at the Condo Beach House of FPL President Armando Olivera and presented him with the South Florida Fossil Fool of the Year Award for his and FPL's greenwashing campaign to dupe the public into thinking FPL is an environmentally sound energy company.
