12/1/10: Update - I do not have any units to sell right now nor will I have any for the next few months. Sorry!

Hi, Brian Henderson here. This is the fifth portable Super Nintendo that I have made and is a prototype for what is yet to come. I took all the lessons I learned from making this portable and have already designed the next revision. Thank you for watching and check out my channel for more portablizing action!

  • You guys ever heard of dingoo, I have one, I play nes/snes/gba/gbc/Neo Geo/Mame/TG16/Scumm perfect speeds minimal games are not compatible and I bought it for 80 bucks.

  • @mackjeez Cool story, bro.

  • Will super famicom games work on it?

I know this is a lame question but I just wanna know

  • @MrFOwii Yes, Japanese games work just fine on it. However, the cartridge slot is made to fit U.S. games.

  • i like this and your #3 equally but if this took 4 AAs it would be awesome.

    also a version in white

  • @metrev117 Funny you should say that - I plan on making exactly what you described for the next version. White with red engraved lettering and runs off of four AA batteries. :D

  • All you need is a portable power socket!

  • We're do you buy the rubber tack switch

  • Is it hard to make?

  • So, do you think commissions can start again sometime? It has been about nine months.

  • muy muy bueno pero le faltan los botones L y R

en mortal kombat no me podria cubrir. pero muy muy bueno esta el snes portable

  • Mega Man X kicks 20,000 leagues of ass.

  • @mackjeez Oh yeah, I love customizing and building my own Dingoos!

  • When are you gonna post a new version

  • @Shinerbock88

The real FC 16 is definitely not junk, there are replica's selling on ebay that are flimsy in build quality using the same name. You have to do a bit of research before you know what you're getting. Battery life is about 6-7 hours and the system itself is solid, so I really don't know what you purchased.

  • Forgot to ask, joedogg86... I noticed you have some Super Famicom carts lying around your work bench. Will your SNESp play those? If not, any plans on making the SNESp SFC compatible? It's easy to convert the SNES to play SFC games and there's no technical know-how required in doing so, but, given the shape of your cart bay on the SNESp, I was wondering if the SFC carts would work as well?
