Here's the facts - I'm a Dickey Betts fan - he was awesome. I bought Dickey Betts and Great Southern Back where it all begins recorded in 2005. He ain't got it no more. If you don't believe me just go buy the DVD and you'll see. Bye the way - get off of Warren's case - that guy is not in ANYONE'S shadow. He's one of the best ever period. Rock on ABB - not trying to upset anyone. God Bless!

Anyone who somehow thinks the Allman Brothers are worse off or "lacking soul" without Dickey should get the live album of this Jazz Fest show... I love Dickey but Derek and Warren BURN this entire gig especially on "Jessica", zero wrong notes... you know Duane and Berry are smiling down....

@JOHNNYANGEL228 you are wrong my friend, im a big Betts fan also, but Warren and Derek have got it too

I agree wholeheartedly what you say. Warren has finally nailed the softer more melodic style he needed. He truly is a great player. i still think him and Dickey made the best team since Duane and Dickey. Dickey could bring fire and also some boogie to whatever is needed. Plus only one cd in the last 16 years? That is pitiful.....

yes everone please visit the ABB WEBSITE ANTD TELLEM TO BRING BACK MR. BETTS HE BELONG WITH THEM MAY THE ROAD GO ON FOREVER!!!

Let me say that I am a HUGE ABB fan, but I have to agree. There's no "vibe" without Dickey playing with Warren.

surprisingly this isn't that bad...most of the time Warren haynes is trying to play his Stevie Ray solos on songs like "Mellisa" and "Dreams" and its like uhhhh yeah that doesn't fit there. props to Warren for actually meshing his style correctly with the Allmans style.
