@omuploii Latin wasn't spoken just in ancient times. It was the language of scientists and of the church through the whole middle age to the 18th century, when Leibniz, a German mathematic, still released his texts in Latin!
And pagan religion still existed in the medieval. The church tried all to wipe out the old religion, but why do you think do we still celebrate carnival with demon masks and witch costumes?

@murf69 strange. Everything in the song is ancient. The language (latin), the pagan religion motifs (Odin). While middle age means Christianity.
