Sue Coleman has earned international recognition for her distinctive watercolours. Especially popular have been her interpretive Northwest Coast Indian paintings. These have been reproduced and sold to collectors worldwide. Sue"s research culminated in a book entitled "An Artist"s Vision" where many of her interpretive paintings along with the legends and history are shown. Sue maintains a studio in Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island, Canada and paints a variety of subjects from misty west-coast scenes, wildlife, landscapes and more.
Sue actively works to promote environmental awareness and wildlife conservation. Her work is represented in Limited Edition Reproductions, Art Cards, Posters, Collector"s Plates and several books, which she has both written and illustrated.

Had discovered a print @ a shop @ Tsawwassen ferry terminal during a visit to my parents when they lived in Nanaimo.
Didn't buy it thou it stuck in my mind everytime we went to the Island.
Enter the Internet...I emailed Sue Coleman via her webpage and after many delightful chats then phone conversations, we went to visit her & Dan shortly after they moved to the Lake House. I now own several hand-signed prints and an AMAZING original of the Northern Lights that hung over her fireplace Thankyou
